claire's public performance - 30 june 2011

well, we had a great time watching claire's performance last night held at 'la salle college of arts'. well, at least for the first time, my hubby was not stealing his moments of sleep and i caught him laughing at the young boys in the drama group, who actually put up a real excellent performance, acting as 'street gang boys'!

the building was artistically designed, all black in colour. joy was quite thrilled with the place as she was stimulated by the aesthetic beauty of it. joy greeted 2 teachers who nearly couldn't recognise her, since she's really turned from an cutsey fat cat to a graceful swan.

when it was claire's chinese performance dance, joy and i were trying to locate her about 10 rows from the front stage. haha, then we saw a butt moving impatiently and trying to lift her head to take a peek, we knew that was her! joy even used the term 坐立不安 to describe claire.

well, hubby and i were indeed surprised that claire actually danced very gracefully, with her slender fingers evidently visible from our seats. she was all smiles too....and more importantly, without her ugly glasses, haha.

hubby commented,"wow, i didnt knw she's so tall now!" aiyo, what a lame comment, right? of coz, i'm always pleased that my 2 girls are not puny-sized like me. 高人一等也比较有气势嘛！

when the whole show ended, joy was bz taking pics with claire, as if she was the star. we also complimented her on her good show, having agile body and being flexible with her fingers, moving around like a 'pea-hen', haha.

claire shared that when she was positioned on stage, one irritating girl actually told her,"move aside. not enough space!"

"did u tell her to 'shut up'?" i asked.

"yes, i did!" she responded.

"but did she hear u?" i quizzed.

"erm..she didn't hear me!" she said it as a matter-of-factly.

haha, so it was cursing comment in her heart, afterall.

well, our whole family loved the show, esp the 'indian dance'... i was laughing out so loud as i watched a fat indian girl looking so out of proportion from the rest (thks to being alerted by hubby about her presence), with big tummy and 'extremely flexible' fingers that looked 'detached' from her arms and body, when she swayed.....clumsy yet flexible.
