joy's bz with dance!

within a short span of admitting to vjc, joy has fulfilled her dreams of being in the dance cca and joining the cheer dance team.

the former cca is a really tough activity, unlike her weekly sun hip hop which is more relaxing and fun. the sch dance focuses heavily on 'basics training', the right 'standing' and 'stretching' posture.

no wonder, my poor joy always comes back from sch with bruises and ache all over her body and limbs. mild complaints aside, i think she understands the perseverant side of learning dance, having been 'brain-washed' by her daddy on such training being an essential move.

the latter cheer lead dance is more fun, as it's a dance choreographed by herself for a group of 8, to cheer the house team on. u knw, every time when she watches the taiwanese entertainment show, she will exclaim,"how i wish i can be the one being thrown upwards! but i knw it will be impossible, given my size and weight!"

but now, in vjc, she's taken up this role to choreograph a 'pokemon' dance. using her own resourcefulness and connection, she has designed the steps and was eagerly showing me last night. in my view, it was adorable and cute!

one hurdle done. her next fear was to dance in front of the whole school, competing agst other house groups.

well, i told her,"this week is an exciting week for you. u will definitely accomplished at the end of fri, with these events going on and tests..."

well, vjc is an active environment where students are encouraged to participate in stuff and develop their potential. time juggling might be a challenge, but i am sure, joy has the quality of manage it well, and excel in all things. 这样，青春才不会白留！

in fact, she will be having another hip hop concert in sep, and the instructor has encouraged a few of them to try choreographing the dance steps and teach the more junior ones....it's certainly exciting for me, as parents, to witness such growth in her.
