tues morn, joy claimed it was a bad luck day for her!
first, it was waking up really late at 7 am. that meant only 1/2 hr for her to wash her hair, tidy herself up and getting ready for sch. with the courtesy of helper j, who didn't succeed in her 'wakening' mission, due to joy's sleepyhead propensity.
imagine how 'tearful' joy was when i suggested sending her off to sch. yes, it was just one bus-stop away.....and i recalled teasing her that despite the proximity of the sch to our house, she might need this service once in a while....my 'prophesy' has indeed come true!
after sending her off and driving back to home, i received another call. joy needed another svc, for me to deliver 'mama lemon' detergent for her lab work.
aye, this scatterbrain. or should i say, she's a last minute worker. always ignoring impt things to be done till the next day.
i hv been commenting recently that she's too distracted with her new i-phone, always fiddling and meddling with it....and yet, not with the intelligent unit stuff, but all the 'bo liao' facebook and other feature stuff.
after i drove into her sch admin block and dropped off her required detergent, she shouted out loudly,"mom, u r really my LIFE SAVIOUR!" wow, that made me sound like a great WOMAN!
she ended late that day, about 9 pm. with all the dance audition practice, she was bushed and worn out. but her bad luck stories did not stop there.....on and on she recounted to us, but all that we could do was to advise her about the reality of life...

Maybe not a scatterbrain but just too many activities on her hand. She seems like the busiest person in your family. Haha!

ReplyDeleteand well, too bad, when she exclaimed that i was the saviour, no one was around except a friend of hers...so, no pleasure from me, just sleepy being tossed around early morn.
joy's indeed bz. jc life is so diff from our days. not just plain study, it's project in addition to gp subject and cca....that's a whole load in hand.
